Power of One Talking Points

Power of One Campaign Talking Points

Use these as a guide, not a script. Speak naturally, keep the message simple, and never pressure anyone to participate.

The message in one sentence

One Dollar. One People. One Future. The Power of One Campaign shows what can happen when many people each make one small, affordable contribution toward a shared vision.

10-second introduction

“The Power of One Campaign is asking people to contribute just $1 a month for 12 months, or $12 one time. Our goal is to bring one million people together around one shared future.”

30-second introduction

“The Power of One Campaign is built on a simple idea: no one person has to carry the whole load. If one million people each contribute a small amount, together we can create something much larger than any one of us could build alone. People can participate for $1 a month for 12 months or make a single $12 contribution. It is about participation, unity, and proving the power of collective action.”

Core facts to remember

  • Campaign goal: 1,000,000 supporters.
  • Contribution: $1 per month for 12 months, or $12 one time.
  • Campaign message: One Dollar. One People. One Future.
  • Purpose: to build broad community participation and support the long-term Camp Wakanda Forever vision and related initiatives.
  • Participation matters: the campaign is designed so ordinary people can take part without a large financial commitment.

Why only one dollar?

The point is accessibility and scale. A dollar is intentionally small so that participation can be open to as many people as possible. The campaign is not about asking a few people for a lot; it is about showing what many people can accomplish together.

How to invite someone to participate

  • Explain the $1-per-month or $12-one-time option.
  • Share the official Power of One website or QR code.
  • Let the person decide without pressure.
  • If they have detailed questions you cannot answer, direct them to the website or Campaign team rather than guessing.

Common questions

“Do I have to sign up for monthly payments?”
No. A supporter may contribute $1 per month for 12 months or choose the $12 one-time option.

“What is the campaign trying to accomplish?”
The campaign is building a large base of people participating in a shared long-term vision connected to Camp Wakanda Forever and its community-focused initiatives.

“Is my contribution a charitable donation?”
No. Camp Wakanda Forever Inc. is not a registered charity. Any receipt issued by the campaign is a payment record and not a charitable tax receipt.

“How can I pay?”
Use the payment options currently offered on the official campaign website. Never ask a supporter to send passwords, banking credentials, or other sensitive information.

“Can I be recognized publicly?”
Supporters can choose the recognition/privacy options provided by the campaign. Respect whatever visibility choice the supporter makes.

“How do I know an Agent is authorized?”
Use the official Agent verification tools on the Power of One website. Do not rely only on a name, photo, or verbal claim.
